Why join the Free State Region, VCCA?
The Heartbeat of America is Chevrolet. And the Heartbeat of the Vintage Chevrolet Car Club of America (VCCA) is it's regional clubs. The Free State Region, VCCA is one of those regions. If you love classic cars, especially if you have a passion for the bow-tie, you will enjoy membership in this organization. Our region was started in 1974 and now has 47 members some of whom are from the original founding membership.
We offer many activities with groups of our members who come together to show off our cars at local shows and swap meets and to take short tours to interesting attractions in our local area. With your membership you will recieve our monthly news letter
"The Valve Tapper" which contains all of the information about upcoming events and stories of interest about owing classic cars.
You must be a member of the national organization to belong to our regional club. The national VCCA offers access to Chevrolet enthusiasts all across the country along with a free subscription to the award winning magazine, the "Generator & Distributor" and access to "Technical Advisors" who are experts in every type of Chevrolet ever made. Visit the
VCCA.org web site for more on the national club.
Our Executive Committee, Director Jack Anderson, Ass't Director Franklin Gage, Secretary Dottie Miller and Treasure/Membership Secretary Bill Scott would love to have you join us at one of our meetings or events. The membership dues are $15.00 per year and $35.00 per year for the national dues.
